Abstract:
In the vicinity of an emission-side end part (202) of a light guide rod (20), a back face side in inclined in a tapered shape toward a lateral face side to form an inclined face (23). An infrared ray proceeding perpendicularly toward the plane of the emission-side end part (202) reflects off the inclined face (23). The infrared ray having reflected off the inclined face (23) is refracted by a lateral face of the light guide rod (20) and emitted, and is spread toward the emission-side end part (202) and emitted. Infrared rays can thereby be emitted in a range wider than the width of a housing (10) in a bar speaker (1).
