Abstract:
Provided is a light guide plate comprising: a plurality of first prisms 21 that are formed in a plate shape which is transparent with respect to visible light, that are provided to one surface 2b of the light guide plate, that are arranged along a first pattern 22, and that reflect visible light toward the other surface 2c of the light guide plate, said visible light being emitted from a first light source 3 and entering the light guide plate from an entry surface 2a; and a plurality of second prisms 23 that are arranged along a second pattern 24 and that reflect visible light toward the other surface 2c of the light guide plate, said visible light entering the light guide plate from the entry surface 2a after being emitted from a second light source 4 that is arranged in a row with the first light source 3. Each of the first prisms 21 comprises a reflective surface 21a that is oriented so as to be directly opposite the first light source 3. Each of the second prisms 23 comprises a reflective surface 23a that is oriented so as to be directly opposite the second light source 4.
