Abstract:
Provided are: a light guide plate with which degradation of image quality is controlled, even if the amount of a resin material cannot be precisely controlled; an image display device; and a light guide plate manufacturing method. Provided is the light guide plate which comprises: a diffraction grating that diffracts light; a film-thickness adjustment part that is formed adjacent to the diffraction grating; and a substrate that subjects light to total internal reflection and thereby guides the light. The film-thickness adjustment part includes an uneven region having a prescribed pitch or a blank region having a prescribed film thickness, or includes both.
