Abstract:
A light guide plate (10), a manufacturing method thereof, a backlight module, and a display device. A reflective layer (104) is disposed in the light guide plate (10). The reflective layer (104) is positioned in a parallel incident light path and is used to reflect the parallel incident light to exit through an emergent light surface (102) of the light guide plate (10). The parallel incident light is incident light parallel to the emergent light surface (102) of the light guide plate (10). The reflective layer (104) is disposed in the light guide plate (10) and in the parallel incident light path and causes the parallel incident light propagating along a straight line on the light guide plate (10) and exiting through an end surface opposite to an incident surface (101) to modify its originally straight path and to propagate in another direction on the light guide plate (10). The parallel incident light is scattered by a grid of light scattering dots (1031) on a bottom surface (103), and then exits through the emergent light surface (102). Parallel incident light that in the prior art would be wasted is reused, thereby significantly increasing the brightness of the backlight module of the light guide plate (10).
