Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to provide a light guide plate capable of emitting light with minimal uneven brightness and high light use efficiency, and capable of mid-to-high distribution. In this light guide plate, there are at least two layers having thicknesses which vary in a direction approximately perpendicular to the light-emitting surface, and a synthetic particle concentration varies in such a way that there is a first maximum value on the light entrance surface side and a second maximum value greater than the first maximum value. In a direction parallel with the longitudinal direction, the light entrance surface is a rough surface on which a cut and polished surface is formed having a prescribed periodic structure.
