Abstract:
Disclosed is a light guide unit that is compact, the formation position of the sensor electrode units of which has a high degree of freedom and said sensor electrode units of which have excellent sensor sensitivity; further, the light guide unit can increase the homogenization of light extracted from a light extraction unit. Further disclosed is an input device using the light guide unit. The light guide unit (1) is provided with a light guide component (2) having an optical extraction unit (8) for extracting incident light, a first sensor electrode unit (3) which is disposed on the side of a first surface (the top surface (2a)) of the aforementioned light guide component (2), a second sensor electrode unit (4) which is disposed on the side of a second surface (the bottom surface (2b)) of the aforementioned light guide component and faces the aforementioned first surface, and a conducting unit which is configured from a first claw unit (11) formed in the first sensor electrode unit (3) and a second claw unit (13) formed in the second sensor electrode unit (4) and which passes through the inside of the aforementioned light guide component (2) to electrically connect the aforementioned first sensor electrode unit (3) and the aforementioned second sensor electrode unit (4).
