Abstract:
The present invention relates to a prism light guide and to a light-collecting and -diffusing apparatus using same, and more particularly, to a prism light guide and to a light-collecting and -diffusing apparatus using same, which can be used to collect and diffuse light, improve the use of space, improve strength and usability, reduce thickness, and save manufacturing costs by further including an optical part in the form of a plate. The optical part inputs light incident from a specific position of the front into the prism light guide vertically and horizontally and guides the light collectively to the side using a plurality of rectangular prisms to thereby maximize light collection efficiency, or the optical part inputs light from the side, divides and guides light incident onto a broad specific portion of the front to effectively diffuse light and simultaneously collect or emit input or output light in order for light to be efficiently collected and diffused.
