Title:
LIGHT-GUIDING PANEL AND LIGHTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/152446
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a light-guiding panel, which is transparent regardless of whether a light source is emitting light, and which emits a large amount of light from one surface when light is emitted from the light source; and a lighting device that uses the same. Also disclosed are a light-guiding panel and lighting device using the same, which provide stable lighting performance over the long term and are superior in terms of interior design, in addition to being inexpensive and easy to handle. A reflective layer is formed on the back of a diffusion layer on the light-guiding panel; therefore, the light passing through the diffusion layer is reflected by the reflective layer so as to reenter the light-guiding panel from the top surface thereof. Thus, it is possible to drastically reduce the amount of light emitted from the top surface of the light-guiding panel, and thereby prevent reflective glare from blinding customers viewing the showcase. Meanwhile, when the power supply from a power source is cut and an LED is emitting light, it is possible to clearly see, between diffusion units, the products inside the showcase from the outside thereof.
