Abstract:
The present utility model provides a light homogenizing rod, an optical assembly and a projection device. The light homogenizing rod comprises a rod body, a first end, and a second end, wherein the first end is located at one end of the rod body, and the size of the cross section of the first end is different from the size of the cross section of the rod body; and the second end is located at the other end of the rod body, and the size of the cross section of the second end is different from the size of the cross section of the rod body. The optical assembly comprises the light homogenizing rod and a holding part, the holding part comprises a first supporting plate and a second supporting plate, the first supporting plate is provided with a first mounting hole, the first supporting plate fits with the first end by means of the first mounting hole, the second supporting plate is provided with a second mounting hole, and the second supporting plate fits with the second end by means of the second mounting hole, the light homogenizing rod thus being held. According to the present utility model, by means of designing the size of the cross section of the first end of the light homogenizing rod to be different from the size of the cross section of the second end, the fixing stability of the light homogenizing rod can be improved without destroying the total reflection effect of the light homogenizing rod.
