Abstract:
A light interference unit (20) is provided with: a branching optical element (21), a multiplexing optical element (23), and at least one fiber device (22). The branching optical element (21) branches, into a measurement beam and a reference beam, a laser beam for which the emission wavelength has been temporally swept. The multiplexing optical element multiplexes the reference beam and the measurement beam that has been reflected by an object to be measured, and causes the beams to interfere. A reference beam device (22A) is included in at least one fiber device. The light path length, of a reference beam that has passed through the reference beam device, from the reference beam device to the multiplexing optical element is used as a transmitted light path length. The light path length, of a reference beam that has been reflected by a separation section of the reference beam device, from the reference beam device to the multiplexing optical element is used as a reflected light path length. In this case, the transmitted light path length is equal to or greater than the reflected light path length.
