Abstract:
Provided is a light irradiation device with which light intensity per unit area can be increased even if the device is one in which multiple light emitters are loaded on a single substrate. A light irradiation device (1) for irradiating light on an object that moves relative thereto, the device comprising: a substrate (10); multiple first light emitter groups (20Aa), which are disposed on one main surface (11a) of the substrate (10) and are located on the upstream side of the object movement direction; multiple second light emitter groups (20Ab) located on the downstream side; and multiple first lenses (17a) and second lenses (17b) that cover the multiple first light emitter group (20Aa) and the second light emitter group (20Ab), respectively. The optical axes of the light output via the each of the multiple first lenses (17a) are inclined toward the downstream side of the movement direction with respect to the normal line of the one main surface (11a) of the substrate (10) and the optical axes of the light output via each of the multiple second lenses (17b) are inclined toward the upstream side.
