Abstract:
The present invention relates to a light irradiation device and a printing device. Provided is a light irradiation device 3 that comprises: a laminate 10 in which a plurality of substrates 10a are laminated; and a plurality of element groups 11 which irradiate light onto a medium to be irradiated 250 that progresses in a first direction D1, and which are arranged on a top surface of the laminate 10 in the first direction D1. Each of the plurality of element groups 11 has a plurality of light-emitting parts 12 which are arranged in a second direction D2 that is orthogonal to the first direction D1, and which are serially connected to each other. The direction of the serial connection differs between element groups 11a, 11b, which are adjacent groups among the plurality of element groups 11.
