Abstract:
The present invention relates to a light-metal vacuum melting device and to a vacuum melting method therefor, and more specifically it relates to: a light-metal vacuum melting device employing electromagnetic stirring, wherein a light-metal starting material is melted in a high-vacuum state by means of a heating unit and is electromagnetically stirred by means of an electromagnetic stirring unit, thereby making it possible to render the consistency of the melt pool uniform, to improve the melting efficiency, the gas (bubble) eliminating efficiency and the like, and also to produce a good quality melt pool; and a vacuum melting method employing the device. The vacuum melting device of the present invention comprises: a vacuum melting chamber equipped with an air-discharge tube on the upper side; a first material-introduction tube which is connected to one side of the vacuum-melting chamber in a communicating fashion, and which is equipped with an air-discharge tube on one side; a second material-introduction tube which is connected between the first material-introduction tube and the vacuum melting chamber; a heating unit used for melting, which is provided on the outside of the vacuum melting chamber; an electromagnetic stirring unit which is provided on the outside of the heating unit used for melting, and which incorporates a spiral coil; a first and a second vacuum valve respectively provided at the two ends of the first material-introduction tube; a first melt-pool heat-preserving tube which connects through to the other side of the vacuum melting chamber; and a second melt-pool heat-preserving tube which connects through to the first melt-pool heat-preserving tube.
