Abstract:
This light-modulating device is obtained by laminating together M (with M ≥ 1) light-modulating layers (113), each of which comprises a first nanocarbon film (114), a first intermediate layer (117A), a dielectric-material layer (116), and a second intermediate layer (117B) laminated together, and forming a second nanocarbon film (115) on top of the second intermediate layer (117B) of the Mth light-modulating layer (113M). A voltage is applied to the first nanocarbon films (114) and the second nanocarbon film (115).
