Title:
LIGHT PICKUP LENS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/013339
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a ring-zone structure of a lens surface (101) on the light-disk side of the disclosed light pickup lens (101) with a numerical aperture (NA) of at least 0.84, going from the lens center to the lens outer rim, considering each ring zone region to be a first ring zone, second ring zone,N-th ring zone (wherein N is a positive integer), considering the point of intersection of the light axis and a hypothetical extended surface that hypothetically extends the aspheric surface of the n-th ring zone (wherein n is an integer such that 1≤n≤N) towards the lens center to be Cn, and considering the distance between the point of intersection C1 and the point of intersection Cn to be the aberration from the axis Dn, the light pickup lens is provided with an m-th ring zone (103) (wherein m is an integer such that 1Dn; and the light pickup lens is configured such that the positions in the light-axis direction of essentially all the points on the surface of the connecting region (104) are more towards the light disk than the position in the light-axis direction of the boundary of the n-1-th ring zone that is towards the lens outer rim.
