Abstract:
Provided are: a light projection device which blocks or suppresses the projection of light to other adjacent locations, and for which the overall device can be made smaller; and a photocurable material processing device provided with the light projection device. This light projection device comprises: a light source unit which is long and in which, when three directions perpendicular to each other are set to be the x-direction, y-direction, and z-direction, a plurality of light emitting elements are disposed in a state of being lined up in the x-direction along a surface which extends in the x-direction and the y-direction; and a columnar lens that has a long shape extending along the light source unit in the x-direction, and that has, on the peripheral surface in the longitudinal direction of the columnar lens, a light receiving surface which receives light from the light source unit and an emission surface which emits the received light. The light source unit is disposed so that a light source reference surface which includes the center of the emission surface of each light emitting element and which extends in the x-direction and the z-direction is located on a surface that is separated in the y-direction from a lens reference surface which includes the central axis of the columnar lens and which extends in the x-direction and z-direction. The direction of light from the emission surface of the columnar lens is inclined with respect to the lens reference surface in a direction going away from the light source reference surface.
