Abstract:
A light quantity control device (1) has a bottom board (60) having an optical path
opening (61), a first vane (20) and a second vane (50) that change the opening area
of the optical path opening (61) when they move straightforward in the directions
opposite to each other, an auxiliary vane (30) superposed over the first vane
(20) and closing the optical path opening (61) in cooperation with the first vane
(20) and the second vane (50), and a drive lever (70) connected to the first vane
(20), the second vane (50), and the auxiliary vane (30) and driving the first vane
(20) and the second vane (50) when it rotates. The first vane (20) and the auxiliary
vane (30) are engaged with the same pin projecting from the drive lever (70). The
auxiliary vane (30) and the first vane (20) are displaced from each other so as
to reduce the amount of their superposition to fully close the optical path opening
(61) in cooperation with the second vane (50).
