Abstract:
A light radiation control device comprises a position information acquisition means (10) for acquiring information relating to the position of an obstacle located in the periphery of a vehicle, and light radiation means (S160, S170) for radiating light in the direction where the obstacle acquired by the position information acquisition means is located, the radiated light being of a different color than the headlights of the vehicle. According to such a light radiation control device, light of a different color than the headlights is confirmed by both the driver of the automobile and the obstacle vicinity, whereby the driver can be notified of the approach of danger (that the automobile is nearing an obstacle), and the positional relationship between the obstacle and the vehicle can be prevented from becoming dangerous.
