Title:
LIGHT RECEIVER, OPTICAL SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD AND DATA REPRODUCTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/039519
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a coherent receiver (12) that performs coherent detection of polarization multiplexed light in which first polarization light and second polarization light are multiplexed, and that separates the polarization multiplexed light into the first polarization light and the second polarization light; an adaptive equalization unit (21) that uses a first FIR filter to compensate for waveform distortion of a signal superimposed onto the first polarization light, uses a second FIR filter to compensate for waveform distortion of a signal superimposed on the second polarization light, and decodes the respective signals after waveform distortion compensation, thereby generating respective pieces of decoded data; an error rate calculation unit (23) that calculates a code error rate of the respective pieces of decoded data generated by the adaptive equalization unit (21); a margin calculation unit (24) that calculates a margin from the code error rate of the error correction limit for each code error rate calculated by the error rate calculation unit (23); and a tap count setting unit (25) that sets a tap count of the first and the second FIR filters on the basis of the respective margins calculated by the margin calculation unit (24).
