Abstract:
A light receiving element (10) has a light receiving layer (3) positioned on a semiconductor substrate (1), a contact layer (5) positioned on a light receiving layer (3), and a pixel electrode (11) making ohmic contact with the contact layer. The back surface of the semiconductor substrate is a light incidence surface, and a reaction prevention film (8) for preventing a chemical reaction caused by the contact layer and the pixel electrode is interposed in the finite region between the contact layer and the pixel electrode.
