Abstract:
A light-reflecting layer having a first liquid crystal layer which is fixed by curing a first curable liquid crystal composition in the state of a cholesteric liquid crystal phase, characterized in that the first curable liquid crystal composition contains both an alignment-controlling agent which contains a fluoroalkyl group and an applicability-improving agent which contains a hydrophilic group. This light -reflecting layer exhibits a reduced haze value and high thermal insulation. Further, the light-reflecting layer can ensure improved applicability in applying and fixing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase on the light-reflecting layer and thus laminating the light-reflecting layer with another light -reflecting layer.
