Abstract:
The present invention provides a light-reflecting sheet for transfer including a weak-peel separator, a strong-peel separator, and a transfer body including a light-reflecting layer and a film brittleness improvement layer, the light-reflecting layer including a layer in which a cholesteric liquid crystal phase is fixed, the film brittleness improvement layer being obtained by curing a composition including a UV-curable monomer, and the end tearing resistance F (N/25 mm) of the transfer body, the weak peel strength (N/25 mm) of the weak-peel separator, the strong peel strength (N/25 mm) of the strong-peel separator, the Young's modulus E of the strong-peel separator, and the thickness t of the strong-peel separator satisfying the following relationships: 0.01 < weak peel strength; weak peel strength + 0.01 ≤ strong peel strength < 0.04 × F; F > π/4∙E∙t2. In this light-reflecting sheet for transfer, breakage is not prone to occur during peeling of a transfer body including a cholesteric liquid crystal layer from a support, and the light-reflecting sheet for transfer is also easily transported. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing an optical member which uses the light-reflecting sheet for transfer.
