Abstract:
First semiconductor lasers (44a, 44b) and second semiconductor lasers (45a, 45b) are disposed on a drive substrate (46) (a YZ plane), the emission directions of light beams (L1-L4) from the first semiconductor lasers (44a, 44b) and the second semiconductor lasers (45a, 45b) intersect at right angles to the YZ plane, and on the YZ plane, the first semiconductor lasers (44a, 44b) and the second semiconductor lasers (45a, 45b) are disposed while being distributed onto two lines (y1, y2) different from each other in a lateral direction orthogonal to the rotating shaft of a polygon mirror (42), and the first semiconductor lasers (44a, 44b) and the second semiconductor lasers (45a, 45b) are disposed on respective lines (z1-z4) different from each other in a longitudinal direction that is the direction of the rotating shaft of the polygon mirror (42).
