Abstract:
In the present invention, in a housing an installation surface (44g), on which an imaging lens unit (42L) is provided, is formed at a higher position than an installation surface (44f), on which a polygon motor (41) is provided, such that there is a step between these surfaces. When seen from the rotation axis direction of a polygon mirror unit (40), the diameter (r) of the circumscribed circle passing thorough vertexes of the polygon mirror unit (40) is larger than the outer diameter (R) of a rotor unit (41a) of the polygon motor (41).
