Abstract:
A light source assembly (240) comprises a substrate (241), point light sources (242) arranged at intervals on the substrate (241), at least two brackets (243) and a quantum tube (244). The brackets (243) are fixed on the substrate (241), and are proximate to the point light sources (242), and the quantum tube (244) is fixed in the brackets (243). A backlight module (200) having the light source assembly (240) utilizes the at least two brackets (243) to fix the quantum tube (244) in proximity to the point light sources (242), and since the brackets (243) are made of a cushioning material, the brackets can provide certain cushion to the quantum tube (244) when subjecting to external impact or shock, thus preventing the quantum tube (244) from being broken or damaged, and improving product reliability. In addition, a prism structure (2443) or an adhered prism film sheet (2444) provided on a side surface of the quantum tube (244) facing away from the point light sources (242) improves the brightness of light rays entering a light guide plate.
