Abstract:
Disclosed is a light source control device allowing easy LED/LD light source brightness variation. One embodiment of the present invention provides a light source control device that controls the brightness of light irradiated by an optical device in accordance with the surrounding environment, comprising: an optical device which irradiates light over a pre-set range and receives reflected light reflected from an object; a driver which controls the provision of a light source to the optical device, thereby either providing a light source to the optical device or blocking the light source being provided to the optical device and thus providing a pulse to the optical device; a sensor unit which ascertains environment information of the place in which the light source control device is located; and a control unit which controls the driver according to the environment information, and thereby controls the width of the pulse that is to be provided to the optical device.
