Abstract:
Provided are a light source device and a display device wherein a light source lamp, such as a fluorescent tube, does not break and is not scratched at the time of attaching/detaching the light source lamp of the light source device, even the display device is large, and the light source lamp can be easily and safely attached/detached. In a light source device (1), a lamp socket (3) is provided with a guide groove (31) for inserting and supporting a ferrule pin (23) of a fluorescent tube (2) in a lamp socket (3), and a lock member (32) is arranged for having the fluorescent tube (2) in a fixed state to the lamp socket (3) by having the ferrule pin (23) of the fluorescent tube (2) fixed, with the ferrule pin (23) inserted in the lamp socket (3).
