Abstract:
Provided is a light source device for an optical fiber gyroscope capable of widening the band of laser light and improving the stability of a scale factor. The light source device, which is for an optical fiber gyroscope and is for driving the optical fiber gyroscope, comprises a laser light source 10, a stabilizing unit 20, and a band widening unit 30. The laser light source 10 emits laser light having a predetermined frequency. The stabilizing unit 20 stabilizes the predetermined frequency of the laser light emitted from the laser light source 10. The band widening unit 30 makes the laser light stabilized by the stabilizing unit 20 become light having a continuous wideband spectrum.
