Abstract:
Disclosed is a light source device provided with a first light source (3a) for emitting first polarized light of a plurality of colors having different wavelengths, a second light source (3b) for emitting second polarized light which has a different polarization state from the first polarized light and includes at least one color among the plurality of colors, and a first color synthesizing optical element (1) for synthesizing the first polarized light emitted from the first light source (3a) and the second polarized light emitted from the second light source (3b).
