Provided is a high-brightness light source device with which it is possible to reduce the installation area and size. The light source device has: a light source accommodation unit (40) provided with a layered structure comprising a first accommodation layer (40a) and a second accommodation layer (40b), a red light source (44R) that emits red laser light and a blue light source (44B) that emits blue laser light being accommodated in the first accommodation layer, and a green light source (44G) that emits green fluorescent light being accommodated in the second accommodation layer; an emission window (41) provided on the second accommodation layer side; a first light combining unit (42) that combines the light path of the red laser light from the red light source and the light path of the blue laser light from the blue light source into one light path, and emits a first combined light in which the red laser light and the blue laser light are combined; and a second light combining unit (43) that combines the light path of the green fluorescent light from the green light source and the light path of the first combined light from the first light combining unit into one light path, and emits a second combined light combining the green fluorescent light and the first combined light toward the emission window.
