Abstract:
A light source device according to one embodiment comprises: a light source unit including a first light source that emits light of a first wavelength range, and a second light source that emits light of a second wavelength range differing from the first wavelength range, in the same direction as the light of the first wavelength range; a wavelength conversion unit that emits fluorescence as a result of being excited by the light of the first wavelength range; a condensing unit that causes the light of the first wavelength range and the light of the second wavelength range to condense on the wavelength conversion unit; and a combining unit which has wavelength selectivity for transmitting the light of the first wavelength range and reflecting or transmitting at least a portion of the light of the second wavelength range, in accordance with the incident angle of the light of the first wavelength range and that of the light of the second wavelength range, and which combines the light of the first wavelength range, the light of the second wavelength range, and the fluorescence.
