Abstract:
In the present invention, even while adjusting the balance of a plurality of colors such as R, G, and B by means of feedback control, an accelerating progression of the degradation of a semiconductor laser, LED, or the like is avoided, and thus increased service life is achieved. A controllable-consumption single-color light source module is configured in a manner such that, in order to calculate, for each drive circuit, an operating upper limit value (Iu) in relation to a maximum limit value (Im) for the output current (Ix) of each drive circuit, an operation coefficient (hx) is determined on the basis of a degradation coefficient (dx) representing the degree of degradation of each light-emitting element, the output current (Ix) of each drive circuit is subjected to feedback control in a range not exceeding the operating upper limit value (Iu) in a manner so that a detected light quantity signal matches a target light quantity signal, and the detected light quantity signal is output to the outside. An integrated control circuit calculates the single-color light quantity sum (σ) from the sum of the detected light quantity signals from single-color light source modules belonging to the same wavelength band, and the target light quantity signal is determined in a manner such that the ratio with respect to those of different wavelength bands is a predetermined value.
