Abstract:
Provided is a light source device (1) equipped with: a plurality of semiconductor light sources (21, 22) that output light beams (L1, L2) having different wavelengths to each other; a plurality of light-collimating parts (31, 32) that make the light beams (L1, L2) from the light sources (21, 22) parallel; a synthesis part (4) that synthesizes the plurality of parallel light beams (L1, L2) produced by the light-collimating parts (31, 32) into a single light path; a light guide (7) having an incident end (7a) positioned on the single light path; a condensing part (5) that focuses the parallel light beams (L1, L2) synthesized by the synthesis part (4) on the incident end (7a); and a light distribution characteristic adjustment part (6) that adjusts the diameter of the plurality of light beams (L1, L2) in such a manner that the numerical apertures of the plurality of light beams (L1, L2), which enters the incident end (7a), are substantially the same.
