Abstract:
This light source device (100) is provided with a semiconductor light-emitting element (101), a condenser optical system (102) for condensing excitation light (121) emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting element (101), and a wavelength conversion element (103) on which the excitation light (121) is irradiated. The wavelength conversion element (103) is provided with a first wavelength conversion region (111) on which a main light ray (122) is incident, and a second wavelength conversion region (112) on which excitation light (121) other than the main light ray (122) is incident, the second wavelength conversion region (112) being disposed around the first wavelength conversion region (111), the wavelength conversion efficiency of the second wavelength conversion region (112) being less than that of the first wavelength conversion region (111).
