Abstract:
Provided is a light source device (110) whereto one of a plurality of types of illumination devices (120, 120a, 120b) having different optical properties can be connected and whereto one of the illumination devices is connected. The light source device includes: a light source (130) that emits desired light; at least one connection unit (112) whereto a connection unit (122) of the illumination device is mechanically and optically connected and which has an emission unit that provides emitted light to the connection unit; a light guiding unit (140) that includes a plurality of light paths (141, 144) which guide light from the light source to the emission unit; and light path setting units (160, 170) which select one light path that matches the optical property of the illumination device connected to the connection unit, among the plurality of light paths.
