Title:
LIGHT SOURCE DRIVING DEVICE AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/101121
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a light source driving device and a head-up display device that can secure greater light stability. A light source driving device (5) drives a light source (11g) that emits green light (G) and a light source (11r) that emits red light (R). The light source driving device (5) comprises: a first voltage adjusting unit (310) that adjusts a voltage (Vg) applied to the light source (11g) on the basis of a power supply voltage from a battery (700); a second voltage adjusting unit (320) that generates a voltage (Vr) to be applied to the light source (11r) by using the voltage (Vg) as a power supply; and a first control unit (100) that performs voltage variable light-modulation processing. In the voltage variable light-modulation processing, the voltage (Vg) and the voltage (Vr) are set such that a light intensity ratio between the green light (G) and the red light (R) is equal to a desired light intensity ratio and the set voltage (Vg) and voltage (Vr) are respectively applied to the light source (11g) and the light source (11r) via the first voltage adjusting unit (310) and the second voltage adjusting unit (320).
