Abstract:
A light source module (100) comprises a substrate (110), an array of light-emitting elements (120) mounted on the substrate (110), an internal wiring portion (130) formed on the substrate (110) and connected with the multiple light-emitting elements (120), a periphery wiring portion (140) formed on the substrate (110) and insulated from the internal wiring portion (130), a first connection unit (150) formed on the first side of the substrate (110) and connected to the periphery wiring portion (140), a second connection unit (160) formed on the second side of the substrate (110) and connected to the internal wiring portion (130) and the periphery wiring portion (140). A backlight module (200) and a liquid crystal display having the light source module (100) are also disclosed. By using the light source module (100), the number of required connection lead is reduced when the light source module (100) is mounted in the backlight module (200), the assembly process is simplified and meanwhile the production cost is reduced. In addition, the space in the backlight module (200) occupied by the connection leads is reduced and the space utilization in the backlight module (200) is improved.
