Abstract:
In order to suppress the spreading of light in the perpendicular direction (lateral direction) to the linear advancing direction of light (longitudinal direction), a light source module is provided with: a light-guiding plate (20); LEDs (12) that cause light to enter at least one of the longitudinal-direction end surfaces of the light-guiding plate (20); and a group of microlenses (20b) for extracting the light guided through the interior of the light-guiding plate (20), said group of microlenses being arranged on the bottom surface (20c) that is opposite the light-emitting face (20d) of the light-guiding plate (20). The light source module also comprises a plurality of curved-surface structures (20a), which consist of curved-surfaces having ridges (20e) in the longitudinal direction thereof, on the light-emitting face (20d) of the light-guiding plate (20).
