Abstract:

A light source position detection device (10) has a condensing lens (32) for condensing light emitted from the sun, an imaging element (33) for receiving the light condensed by the condensing lens (32), and a CPU (21) for detecting the position of the sun on the basis of per-pixel light reception information received by the imaging element (33), and the CPU (21) changes the shutter speed of the imaging element (33) and adjusts the amount of light received by the imaging element in response to the amount of light emitted from the sun. The light source position detection device (10) can detect the position of a light source with high precision, and can detect the position of a light source with high precision even when the light source is obscured by clouds, for example.
