Abstract:
A light source and a projection system are provided. The light source includes an excitation light source (10), a stimulated light supplying device (30), a regional diaphragm (20) and a light supplement device (50), wherein the regional diaphragm (20) is arranged on a light path of the excitation light (11) and the stimulated light (33), comprises a first region (21) for transmitting /reflecting the excitation light (11) to form a main path light (11a) and for reflecting / transmitting the excitation light (11) to form a side path light (11b), and a second region (22) for totally reflecting/totally transmitting incident light; the stimulated light supplying device (30) is provided on the light path of the main path light (11a) so as to generate the stimulated light (33) transmitted to the regional diaphragm (20) after being irradiated by the main path light (11a); the light supplement device (50) is provided on the light path of the side path light (11b) for generating supplement light (51) transmitted to the regional diaphragm (20) after an unifiering processing on the side path light (11b); and the supplement light (51) combines with the stimulated light (33) after passing through the regional diaphragm (20). In this way, the missing light part in the stimulated light (33) having the same spectrum as the excitation light (11) is supplemented, thereby improving the uniformity of the light output by the light source.
