Abstract:
Disclosed are a light source system and an illumination apparatus, comprising: at least one laser light source, used for emitting excitation light; an optical waveguide medium, arranged on the emergent light path of the laser light source; one face of the optical waveguide medium is provided with an optical microstructure, used for totally reflecting the excitation light incident into the optical waveguide medium; a heat dissipation base; the heat dissipation base is recessed to form a first groove, and the bottom of the first groove is recessed to form a second groove; the first groove is used for placing the optical waveguide medium; a wavelength conversion layer, arranged in the second groove and used for converting part of the excitation light emerging from the optical waveguide medium to form excited light; the excited light and the excitation light that has not been converted by the wavelength conversion layer form illumination light. By means of the described embodiment, the present application implements a white-light illumination light source having high energy, high brightness, and a small volume, and can solve the problem of heat dissipation of a laser chip and heat dissipation of a wavelength conversion material.
