Abstract:
The present invention reduces the cost of a light source unit in which a light emitting element and a conductive layer constituting a lighting circuit thereof are supported on a heat sink. Three light emitting elements 22A, 22B, 22C and a conductive layer 40 constituting the lighting circuit thereof are supported on a heat sink 50. Here, the heat sink 50 is formed by an aluminum member subjected to an alumite treatment, and the conductive layer 40 is formed as a surface treated layer on an oxide covering 52 of the heat sink. The light emitting elements 22A-22C are mounted on the heat sink 50 while electrically connected to the conductive layer 40. This makes it possible to manufacture the light source unit 20 through the simple work of merely mounting the light emitting elements 22A-22C on the conductive layer 40 formed as the surface treated layer on the heat sink 50, and does not need conventional work for affixing a flexible printed wiring board or the like having a conductive layer to the heat sink.
