Abstract:
Disclosed are a light-splitting apparatus, a dual-mode ONU, an optical network system and a communication method, which relate to the technical field of optical networks. The light-splitting apparatus provided in the present application is provided with M ports. The light-splitting apparatus comprises: M light-splitting elements, wherein each of the light-splitting elements comprises at least one trunk end and N branch ends, and M = N + 1; each branch end of each of the light-splitting elements is coupled to one branch end of each of the other light-splitting elements among the M light-splitting elements; different branch ends of each of the light-splitting elements are coupled to branch ends of different light-splitting elements; the trunk end of each of the light-splitting elements is coupled to one of the M ports of the light-splitting apparatus; and the trunk ends of different light-splitting elements are coupled to different ports. By means of the light-splitting apparatus, a topologically equivalent optical bus structure can be realized.
