Abstract:
The present invention relates to a light-therapeutic mouth guard and can maximize sterilization and anti-inflammatory effects on teeth and gingiva by increasing emission intensity through the overlapping emission of light-emitting elements. The present invention comprises: a guard body, which can be worn in the mouth while accommodating teeth and gingiva by means of an accommodation groove composed of a masticatory surface-facing part that faces the masticatory surface of the teeth while having a curvature corresponding to a row of teeth, and an inner wall part and an outer wall part that face the teeth and the gingiva from both the inside and the outside; and a side light-emitting element provided on the inner wall part and/or the outer wall part of the guard body so as to emit light at the side surfaces of the gingiva and the teeth, wherein the side light-emitting element is formed into a plurality of rows so that the emitted light can overlap and increase emission intensity.
