Abstract:
Light transmittance adjustable eyewear is provided.
Light transmittance adjustable eyewear comprises: a lens part including a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel with a variable light transmittance; an illuminance detection sensor for detecting a surrounding illuminance; and a control unit for receiving the surrounding illuminance from the illuminance detection sensor, increasing the light transmittance of the LCD panel when the surrounding illuminance is a first threshold or less, and decreasing the light transmittance of the LCD panel when the surrounding illuminance is at least a second threshold, which is greater than the first threshold.
