Title:
LIGHTHOUSE BEACON USING LASER DIODE AND PHOSPHOR AT POSITION OF FOCAL POINT OF PARABOLA
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/200262
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a lighthouse beacon. The lighthouse beacon comprises: a first reflection body in which a cross-sectional shape thereof obtained by cutting the first reflection body perpendicularly to a circumference is a parabola, the inner surface thereof is a paraboloid which is obtained when the parabola rotates about an axis of a parabola passing through the parabola, and an opening is formed in the center of the paraboloid; a second reflection body having a vertex thereof that is the focal point of the parabola, and having a shape of a circular cone in which the vertex is overturned to face the direction of the paraboloid, wherein the shape of a circular cone has an outer surface which is subtended by an angle of 35 to 55 degrees with respect to the progress direction of light reflected from the paraboloid; a laser diode which is positioned below the second reflection body and is disposed such that an output terminal for outputting a laser faces the opening so as to irradiate a laser in the direction of the opening; a phosphor, which is coupled to the second reflection body so as to be positioned on the vertex of the shape of a circular cone, for emitting light as the laser is incident thereon; and a power supply unit which supplies power to the laser diode.
