Abstract:
A first lighting apparatus is provided with a light source for emitting light that has directivity and a uniform lighting optical system including a plurality of two-dimensionally arranged lenses and having a first fly-eye lens for letting the emitted light from the light source pass through. The area to be lighted forms a surface shape including a side extending along a direction almost parallel to the major-axis or minor-axis direction in the intensity distribution shape of the emitted light of the light source, and the periodic direction of a lens arrangement in the first fly-eye lens is inclined relative to the major-axis or minor-axis direction.
