Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for illuminating a lighting apparatus having a PN junction light-emitting element, including the steps of: supplying AC adjusted by a dimmer; emitting the light from a first group having one PN junction light-emitting element located within a first boundary and one P-N junction light-emitting element located within a second boundary in an on-state of a first switch under a first voltage by the supplied AC; and emitting the light from a second group which has another PN junction light-emitting element located within the first boundary and another PN junction light-emitting element located within the second boundary and which is serially connected to the first group, in an off-state of the first switch located between the first and second groups under a second voltage which is higher than the first voltage by the supplied current.
