Abstract:
Provided is a lighting apparatus capable of reducing glare. A lighting apparatus according to an embodiment is provided with a pair of light-emitting devices, a control unit for controlling the pair of light-emitting devices, and a chassis. Each light-emitting device has: a belt-shaped substrate extending in one direction; a plurality of LED chips mounted on the underside surface of the substrate and arranged in the one direction thereof; light-reflecting members oriented in a manner such that the surfaces thereof facing the LED chips are light-reflecting surfaces, and when viewed from the LED chips, positioned below and to a first side of the substrate, but so as to leave the other side open; and a light-diffusing reflective plate having a lower surface which is the light-diffusing reflective surface thereof, and on which some of the light reflected by the light-reflecting members is incident. The pair of light-emitting devices are connected to one another by the end parts thereof on the aforementioned first sides of the substrates. The control unit is positioned below the light-reflecting members. Furthermore, the heat from the LED chips is transmitted to the chassis via thermal conduction.
