Abstract:
A lighting control system and a lighting control method are disclosed. The lighting control system for controlling the lighting in a lighting space including a plurality of split lighting spaces comprises an entrance and exit sensing unit, an entire lighting unit, a user position confirmation unit, and a user position lighting unit, wherein the user position confirmation unit also comprises a movement sensing unit and a communication terminal position sensing unit. The entrance and exit sensing unit senses the entry of a user into the lighting space and the exit thereof from the lighting space, the entire lighting unit lights the entire lighting space to a first illuminance if the entry of the user is sensed, and stops the entire lighting in the lighting space if the exit of the user is sensed, the user position confirmation unit confirms a user position in the lighting space, and the user position lighting unit lights a split lighting space, in which the user is positioned, to a second illuminance, which is brighter than the first illuminance, if the user position is confirmed.
